We provide comfort care by managing your pain and symptom as they arise. We strive to maintain your comfort levels by creating a plan of care tailored to you and your loved ones’ wishes, while monitoring progression through routine visits from our team.
We also provide items related to life-limiting conditions, including beds, wound care supplies, incontinence supplies, respiratory supplies, etc.
Our team offers help with basic hygiene, such as bathing, skin care, filing nails, dressing, and changing bed linens.
This includes providing support for you and your loved ones during this hard time.
This may include physical therapy, speech therapy, or occupational therapy relating to terminal illness.
Doula comes from Ancient Greek—which means “a woman who serves.” Doulas are non-medical personnel who are trained to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to others.
At Amare’ Vista, we work with a professional End-of-Life Doula to offer holistic comfort and support for
terminally-ill patients throughout the stages of death. Doulas, approved by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, help the patient and their loved ones understand the natural processes of death, offer support throughout the stages of coping and grief, including assisting in memorials and funeral service arrangements, and maximize the time and energy that the patient has left to spend with their loved ones.
A Doula is often the patient’s personal connection to the hospice, helping to make sure that we offer timely care and comfort to patients and their loved ones when needed…even if you just need someone to sit with the patient.
The end-of-life-process is hard on everyone. We’re here to make that transition as easy as possible by
being there for you from initial diagnosis to bereavement.
AMARE' VISTA CARE LEVELS
Routine Home Care
You and your loved ones would receive regular routine visits at the place of your choosing.
Continuous Care
Consists of hospice care for a continuous amount of hours that is utilized when patients develop acute medical symptoms that may require more than routine care.
Respite Care
Patients would be placed in a facility for a short time to give family members a break.
General Inpatient (GIP) Care
is one of the four levels of care available to patients who elect the Medicare Hospice Benefit. GIP level of care is appropriate when the patient’s medical condition warrants a short-term inpatient stay for pain control or acute or chronic symptom management that cannot feasibly be provided in other settings.
